Managing Director John Eversley
John Eversley, a Philosophy, Politics and Economics graduate from Oxford University, is an expert in the field of public policy and management, the theory and practice of community development and a socail nad health historian. His experience spans the voluntary sector, higher education and Director level posts in the NHS and local government.  He began his working life in Northern Ireland as youth worker and social researcher during the Troubles in the early 1970s. He spent most of the next four decades working in London in variety of community work, policy-making and management roles. In 2014, he relocated back to Northern Ireland where he is involved in teaching, policy development and community work.

As well as being managing director of ppre, John is managiing director of a sister community interest compnay in Northern Ireland - Macroscopia. He also works with several universities, for instance:

  • He teaches a course on the history of health and health care at the College of Global Studies, Arcadia University in London
  • He teaches leadership, management and policy-making at Queen's University Belfast, particuarlry  with postgraduate Sustainable Development students

John was  Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Humanities at London Metropolitan University.where he taught  research skills, community development and other topics.

He has also taught postgraduates  Public Health at City and South Bank Universities  and Healthcare Management to MBA students at Brunel.

John has carried out work on refugee health professionals over a number of years. See Resources page.

He has many years experience of grant-giving including for Charity Projects (Comic Relief) and the Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
